iTunes can be Moved Online

This may be a crazy idea, but i think iTunes can be entirely online.

Quicktime can provide the USB interface to an iPod as the Client Software. Quicktime can have a iPod tab.

The entire GUI and media management of iTunes can be a WebApp. This way the iPod media can be managed, when traveling, or from any computer with Quicktime.

iPod as Electronic Wallet

If the iPod carries a secure, signed or uniquely identifiable processor or key, it can be used on any computer as a very secure Electronic Wallet. The USB interface provides a way of topping up the wallet. This because two computers are involved in the transaction. The PC and iPod.

JavaScript works well in iPod Touch

I did an experiment today, with DiskAid i transferred Joe Barta's PageTutor into my iPod. I was able to use the html pages better than a computer because of the Apple's unique touch screen. The Color Picker Javascript worked, i did not expect that.

If Flash works and Javascript fully supported, then that would make things more Interesting.

May the iPod grow in size and numbers

USB Drive to iPod File Transfer

I had to put some files from my USB ThumbDrive to iPod. That needed a Turn on, on my computer and then plugging things on, and a transfer.

I saw this innovation earlier. Wireless USB - Wireless Extension to USB. And also a USB Drive like product.

I feel this type of thing can be made for stand alone iPod, extra storage or archive. No need to turn on PC.

Also, i think, there may be a need (?), for a very small, tiny Wi-Fi Router with 100 GB storage, media and cache management. That can serve 2 or 3 iPods and 1 or 2 Netbooks.

More place for Programs iPod

I am running out of Desktops and Screen Space on my iPod Touch, I have only 9 desktops and have space for 16*9 = 144 Icons or Programs, Only.

When the Music Icon leads to so many music files, why the organizing for applications is limited. It could be that, i did not figure how to accommodate more than 144, some of which are used up by apple apps.

I find that there may be more than 600 very useful programs, which are free or paid apps from app store in iTunes. A provision for at least 500 icons would keep us going. I feel just a Program folder option will solve the problems, nested only one deep. Even an option of four colored folders for every desktop will solve the problem without stressing usability.
